Default compliance plate!

Had this sent to me,hope rob does'nt mind!

Here is a picture of the compliance plate on a Lexus SC300 USA spec. The car is currently for sale in Florida. Look closely. It was complianced as a JZZ31 Toyota Coupe, which is exactly what it is. The 3.0 liter Soarer with base trim spec level.

The ACPVFA after the model will say that it was built for the USA market. Find out what the differences for the local market are and you may find that it was exactly the same.

First time I've actually seen the compliance tag from a USA spec Lexus SC series. Bugger me if it doesn't say that it's a Toyota Soarer JZZ31. Check a few SC400's and I reckon that you will find that they are also marked as UZZ30 which was the base trim spec level SOarer.

Those are the model codes.. they help identify the car within the model.

UZZ32:
ACPZK

UZZ31:
ACPZK

UZZ30:
ACPVK

JZZ30:
ACMVZ, ACPVZ, ACMZZ, ACPZZ

JZZ31:
ACPVF

They tell the parts guy what block they were built in... each block has a revision of the parts, wiring looms etc. Like a minor version number.
