Question wood steering wheel

I've seen some wood/leather steering wheels off a LS400 on ebay for sale and was wondering what year, if any, would fit on my 93 SC. I still want to use my CC and AirBag.

Thanks!!!

it won't work, unless you get the airbag too.

imo, wood is cool and all but it's very delicate, since it has this glossy clearcoat on it that is very easy to scratch/peel and even take chunks off it.. im talking with regular stuff such as keys, bracelets, rings and such.. I rather the feeling and grip of leather..

In a way I agree, but wood can be sanded down, stained, and then sealed again. If you have problems with the leather steering wheels, you're pretty much screwed... unless you want to drive around in your SC with a Fast & the Furious plastic neon green steering wheel cover from Pep Boys.

I personally like the wood / leather combo that comes on the 99-2000 SC300/400.
Check that one out, I bet it fits on our older SC’s….

My SC is a daily driver here. Not to mechanically inclined here. So just trying to avoid the hassle of removing, installing, removing then reinstalling the steering wheel. Plus, trying to find one to use while A.S. has mine has been difficult. Otherwise I would be in for the group buy. A.S. seems to do some fantastic work on the wheels sent to them.

99-00 is 3-spoke, but there is no wood. There has never been an OEM wood/leather wheel for the SC300/400. Manaray has some posts that detail what transplants work and what ones don't. AS can always do the conversion.
