Default 92 SC400 alarm system reset

Last night I was with my girlfriend and I went to use the bathroom and left her in the car with my keys and the doors locked being that there was a sketchy individual in the park. When I returned she attempted to open the drivers side door for me only to have the alarm go off and it took her a few minutes to get it to shut off and me to get inside without it freaking out. When I tried to start the car the starter would not crank. Long story short the alarm system is engaged and the car won’t start.

But here’s the catch, to disable the starter kill switch you have to lock and unlock the car from the drivers side door but my locks do not work, I’ve had to leave it unlocked everywhere I go for a while now because I’ve continuasly put off getting them fixed and now I’m paying the price. I also can’t get in my car now since it’s locked because of this.

Does anyone know how to override the alarm system without unlocking the doors? I know I’ll have to get in there to do it but once I do how can I do it without locking and unlocking the doors? If push comes to shove I’ll completely disable the alarm system for now but how would I do that also?

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Disconnecting the battery will reset it. The logic behind using the key in the ignition disabling the system, but disconnecting the battery resetting it, escapes me... What's a thief more likely to have, the key to the car or a wrench?!

Get those door locks fixed ASAP. Many of the headaches experienced by SC owners revolve around putting off door repairs...usually the handles. Inside or outside still works, so who needs to fix the other? Then the other dies and you're screwed. Is the problem that the lock sensors don't pick up that a key was used to open the door (somewhat common problem) or that the locks themselves don't work?
