Does 91 Lexus LS400 have a Starter Kill in factory alarm? Help Please Car won't Start
I would like to know does a 91 Lexus LS400 have a starter kill in its alarm system? Because I was testing my alarm to see if it still worked with this new door I put on ( my car was in an accident) and the alarm went off when I opened the lock through the window. When I went to put the key in the ignition the alarm turned off, but now the car won't start. It doesn't even try to start, you just hear a tick sound when I turn the key. Also now my trunk opener and my power locks switch doesn't work??
Ps.. I don't have a key for my Drivers door as of yet because I just installed a new door and it have a different lock.. I wasn't able to put the lock from my existing door because it was all smashed up and I couldn't use it. I was wondering do you have to unlock the driver door to disarm the alarm? Does this car have a start kill??

Yes it electrically disconnects the starter, your trunk will not open nor your doors. To reset do following open doors with remote door lock control, or open passenger side with key. Unlock your trunk with key and open trunk, the theft system will be reset. When you have done this turn the theft system off untill you get drivers door lock key.

How do you turn the theft system on and off? My alarm doesn't work. It beeps when I hit the buttons to lock and unlock, but the panic botton doesn't work, and I open the door like Dropped can, but the alarm won't go off. Am I missing a switch somewhere? Mine is a 95 LS
Thanks
