Default Stock alarm system.

I just installed a keyless and remote start on my 93 SC400 and its great. It's a DEI 561 i believe and I decided to just stick with the factory alarm. Anyway, do you guys think that was a good move or should I have gotten the whole security system w/ remote start? In other words, is the factory security system pretty good or can any joe off the streets bypass it?

It will go off if you have the windows down, lock your doors and unlock it from the inside (Same as somebody breaking your window). Then the starter will be disabled and you have to unlock the car from the outside with a key to get it to go off. Also if your doors are locked and the alarm is set and the hood pops it goes off. With the doors locked your hood release is also disabled from the inside.
