Hi folks.
Since my other cars have their own build threads , I have to be fair and start one for this one as well.
This will be my last SC (thatīs what Iīve told my wife at least . )
Itīs a 1995 SC400 that I imported from Germany in 2017. Originally a Texas car in Ok condition. Iīve had it garaged until now.

Plans
There will be some kind of engine upgrade on this car eventually, but I keep changing my mind on what direction to take. 1jz or 2jz? auto or manual? Time will tell. It will stay stock for a while and Iīll register it here in Sweden with the 1uz to begin with.

Maintenance so far:

1) New speaker cover


The previous owner had changed the small speakers and probably destroyed the cover in the process. He (or she) had just covered it with some fabric.




OEM cover bought from the UK.

2) Changing covers on the drivers seat

Used covers but ok condition

3) +97 rear lights


Supra style lights removed

 

4) engine

Leaking water pump, leaking seals and gaskets.



New water pump,timing belt, valve cover gaskets, distributor rotors, front main seal, cam seals, serpentine belt and spark plugs. My green sc400 will remain 1uz, so Iīll keep this engine for her as a spare when I do a swap on this one.
