Rear Spoiler options
it would be really nice if anyone could share pics and specs on different spoilers that are out there for the SC300. i am pretty sure there is no difference between the 1992 all the way up to the 2000 rear trunk lids, but i could be wrong. i have been looking around our beautiful but sadly extremely vast (not to mention scary lol) web and i have only found spoilers that were pretty much drilled and bolted onto stock lids as universal spoilers. i was wondering if anyone knew of any official SC300 spoilers that look good and are actually made specifically for the car instead of univ types. please post images and if possible the product names. thanks alot!!

thats a spoiler thread, pretty old though and a lot of actual member spoilers not listed sadly (for months been searching for actual veilside executive spoiler pics)
but it gives you a general idea

There were two main spoiler options available for the SC300/400: a "flat" style mostly found on factory 1992-1996 SC400's and as a dealer installed option on 92-96 SC300's... and then a very conservative "wing" like spoiler on 1997-2000 SC400's and some 97-00 SC300's. JDM Toyota Soarer Z30's used the same spoilers.
What some people will do to gain a factory spoiler is to find one from an SC400 that already has the version they like in a paint color that matches their car (unless they have custom paint) and just remove their spoiler-free trunk and swap on the SC400 winged trunk. Of course you can have a professional shop measure out and drill your original spoiler-less trunk if you want to keep all your matched VIN stamped sheet metal.
The looks of either style are subjective. I prefer the more rounded body lines of my stock 1993 chassis and my stock plain 92-94 tail lights with the early 92-96 "flat" spoiler. My only deviation from period correct body lines is a 97-00 front bumper. I feel it gives the SC body I nice low to high swoop when looking from the front to the very rear of the spoiler.
But there are so many great interpretations of how to make the 92-00 SC chassis look good with wings, body kits (OEM or aftermarket) it's really up to the eye of the beholder.

mysterious spoiler
i have never seen this before, but it looks like a combination of the stock flat-lip spoiler and a AM spoiler, which in my opinion alone doesn't look that bad, however there are sadly no pictures of the spoiler and trunk on the car... but i will add the source link anyways.
