Difference between SC dashboard, huh?

From 92 to 94 they used sleeves that appeared to be white but they were really blue/green, just very light colored.
from late 94/95 to 96 they used WHITE SLEEVES that turned the cluster AMBER in color. (would you like a picture of the sleeves?)
from 97-99 they used cathode clusters that were pure white.
The website is more corect than anything because compared to the amber clusters of the mid 90's the earlier one's were quite white in appearance, most especially when they were newer before the sleeves went clear over time.
from 97 on they were pure white cathode fired clusters.

I gotcha.
Thanks for your thorough explanation.
Please feel free to post any pix that would be helpful. I love paying attention to details.
Thanks again.

in the later clusters it really does have amber gauges. the sleeves are white.
when the old cluster sleeves turn clear it burns the natural bulb color.
this is Biz's cluster. it is white-ish, but i don't know what year it is from.
