WOW! I've never seen that before...I would contact JIC, I'm sure they'll take care of ya...but I don't think they warranty it if you hit a 18 wheeler...

Good thing i returned mine. Any bar that is "adjustable" can't offer decent chassis stiffening. Besides that, the shop sold me a used bar.

Hello,
Please tellme that is your knee we see in those pics and not some other body part...lol just playin. But yea I agree witht he whole "adjustable" bar thing. I'd rather have a 1 piece bar than a three piece adjustable. I had a Neuspeed bar on my old CRX and it was amazingly stiff, I had to drop the suspension just to get it on. My friend had a generic adjustable one on his CRX and it just went right on and overall it just did't feel the same or look as strong. I kinda wished JIC made solid 1 piece units like neuspeeds. This whole snapping doesn't make me want to buy one anymore. Does anyone know of a company that makes solid 1 piece bars for the SC?
Thank You
-Brian

Any one with a welder can fix that for ya. A quick bead will take care if it. Bring a 6-pack of beer to a shop w/ a alluminum mig welder and I'm sure it will get taken care of. Should take less than 10 seconds - tops.

Those STB's are really just for looks, so having them break is no big surprise. A real STB will be triangulated with the firewall, as most racing classes will not even allow the cheap single bar units.

Leave it off or get it welded if the mfg won't repair it. Good luck.

I can ask my mechanic to have it re-welded... or you can sell to me cheap if you don't want it
