That's the first report we've gotten of a broken bar. Ali got it from us. We were clearing some stock and sold this on ebay. Not a common practice. I've seen Cusco replica bars which are basically the same looking as the JIC's. So I don't doubt that they exist. lol. But Ali did get an authentic one. The sticker and everything is on the backside of it. We've sold tons of bars and this is the first report we've received.

GadgetSC,

This is what JIC has offered, 35% off the cost of a replacement.

I proposed the following to JIC, if they can reweld/repair the STB for me, since I do not need a new one.
Kris from JIC Magic who has been helping me with this matter, has not yet responded to my proposal yet.

I hope to have an answer soon. So far, their customer service has been great.

I will keep you guys posted on the outcome.

If this is the first time they have seen a broken bar, they should replace it immediatly- no questions asked, if they are a reputable company. At the least, they should re-weld it.

Giving you 35% off a bar thats probably marked up 2-300% from what it cost to make, is BS if you ask me. You are a customer and you should be taken care of. It called doing business. If this company is only after money, they won't last in a competative market- since there isn't a price for customer satisfaction.

Just my thoughts though. The fact that its taking this long to resolve is making my eyebrow raise.

Good luck

Cool JIC

Azi

Well guess what we are going to replace it, but we do have some questions to ask. Like any other company we need to know what happened, so we can let Japan know so this does not happen again to one of you guys. We are going to give you a new one, but we will need your old one to send to Japan. Sorry I took so long I was talking to my boss these last few days about getting you a new one. So I hope you can see I will always take care of JIC customers

Kris,

Thank you. I will send the broken STB back to your attention.

By looking at this outcome, you can all see the integrity of JIC, and how they stand behind their products and take care of their customers.

Kris, thanks again for the great news!
