distributor rotor
Question for you guys.I changed my distributor caps and rotors yesterday, the passenger side was a pain in the ***,anyway I did not take notice when I removed the rotor which way it was facing up or down.I installed it facing up is that the right way?Is there a right or wrong way? Please help. Thanks in advance
The upness or downness would depend on where the cam was when you shut it off. That's not a relevant question. Normally there's a little tab inside the rotor and matching notch on the distributor shaft that won't let you get it wrong. If the cap went back on easily and the car runs, you got it right!
