Default Cheapest TT swap ever? UPDATED

I was looking though all the parts I have collected over the last several months for my TT swap in my 95 SC... Then started adding up in my head what I have in everything and I think my swap is going to be the cheapest I have ever heard of....
1995 Complete 2JZGTE engine (Broken upper intake, TB and timing cover has a small crack) but all the coils are there and 90% everything else including Both Turbos $750 shipped with a 6 month warranty (yes its legit)
1995 Complete wiring harness $250 (used but in excellent shape)
Complete hard pipe kit for stock IC wih Greddy BOV flange $200
Chroming Hard pipe kit $125
Used BOV (from my Turbo civic back in the day) Greddy Type S $Free
Mass Air Sensor $60 shipped off Supraforums
Mass air meter came with a Greddy intake system hard pipe and all $FREE WOW (UPDATE)
Greddy Trust Side Mount Intercooler off Ebay $325 shipped (UPDATE)
Ignitor and noise suppressor $100 picked up Enhanced Performance- Goldboro,NC (UPDATE)
Misc. broken pipes I needed free with Ignitor (Thanks Glenn)
Upper intake and Throttle Body (trade for NX intercooler spray bar) $250 in NX kit (UPDATE)

Grand Total So Far is a whopping $3100.00 with T78 (UPDATE)

OK I just picked up a Greddy T78 kit for $1750.00 off Supra forums
sold stock twins for $400.00 sold RMM DP $180.00 sold Greddy intake $120.00
SO after all that about $1050.00 in the single kit.... so updated grand total
Now Im getting excited.....

That would be very nice, and I give you props for being able to do it .... but ....

It doesn't help much because no one else will ever be able to get those kinds of deals unless they fall into a field of good luck and miracles.

Yea its true I have been very lucky in my quest to make my car a TT... You know I was fully prepared to spend the money but again as luck should have it I have gotten a good deal on everything thus far. I have also been very patient which helps greatly...The deals are out there, most people just over look them. Believe me I am not trying to set any standards just wanted to share this with the group...

Looks like your missing few things. Or maybe you didn't list everything.

How hard is it to transplant the TT to the SC300? It seems like everyone is doing themselves like an oil change...

Fuel Pump, and Fuel Pump ECU (I believe), Supra TT Throttle cable, & few other misc. things.

One HoT SC: The TT swap is definitely not like a oil change, lol.

Default oil change lol

The reason I am going to do it myself is because I have been doing import performance work for along time... I have done swaps on pretty much everything except a SC!?!? I am pretty sure I can pull it of and having a fully operational shop complete with lifts, air tools, and everything else you coud ever need helps alot...I have read everything there is to read about the swap and believe me this isn't for everyone... This is a very involved process and very time consuming... But again its all hard if you dn't know what your doing. My first B series swap in a honda back in 93 was hard but now easy easy, same with the SR20DETs and the RB26 swaps...The problem with the TT swap is a total lack of information.. But I will promise this, when I finally do my swap there will be all the info needed to do it available to everyone..

That would be awsome. It would give people a true idea of they are getting into.

Well for the time I am going to use my 5 speed (stock)... I understand it won't hold the power a 6 speed will but my car "AT FIRST" will be a BPU only deal.... As for a clutch Im not sure yet... Any suggestions? See when I got my motor, I was suppose to get the whole car which was complete... So I would have EVERYTHING to do the complete changeover including the 6 speed... Well as it usually goes the tranny was sold the motor and brakes was taken out and the car was cruched with the ECU and all still in it... The wiring harness was also cut... Thats one reason I got it so cheap (the motor and brakes)... So to make a long story short no 6 speed... So decided to just use what I had for now and upgrade as needed... But any suggestions a clutch would be great... My goal is only around 450hp...

I've only tried two NA clutches... The RPS was really bad. Slow to release, always chattered, release point was too low even after adjustment, made for a very hard car to drive smoothly. The RPS was always slow to grip on a 4000rpm clutch drop. It slipped on several occasions. It finally suffered a broken spring on the clutch disc where the hub meets the disc. Now I have the Horsepower Freaks clutch. It is better, but still has drawbacks. It is generally smoother, but can still chatter bad if not careful, is slow to grip on a clutch drop, and generally holds the power, but has slipped once under a very high load. It has its good days and bad. Another drawback of the HPF clutch is that if you're on a hill and slip it too much, it starts to get noisy, making a grinding noise that is very unsettling. The HPF clutch does shift better, release point is good. The pedal pressure is similar for both units. The HPF version I have has the ACT plate which is supposed to be stiffer. End result, the HPF is far better, but also still far from being like stock in everyday driving.
