hey guys....my brother bought me a Soarer Drift Machine model for me...and I've put it together...and here are some pictures.
well...first of all...the car came in automatic I don't konw why they did that..


BUT...I did a little conversion...I took it from automatic to a manual transmission and I put the e-brake down and also added a clutch pedal to it..


and I also installed a F50 brembo front big brakes


and for some reason...they model is a V8..BUT the box said it's a 2.5 turbo...but they did give me a FMIC...and I've added something to it hope yall can figure what I've added..


and I've tooking a part from my 86 and turn it into this....pardon me for my late night painting..


and to the body...I've cut the grill out...I've cut the bumper...I've cut the side vent beside the fog lights..and I've added the front lips on there and that's a shot of primer before I paint it in my paint booth......btw .....I've put a single muffler one the Soarer...and the model orginally came with two holes in the rear bumper and I have a single muffler..so I've decide to fill in the hole in the rear bumper to make it look a little better....but I don't have a picture to the rear bumper yet...

Lookin good there! I just wish I could find a place that sold those little 'mods' for my kit (I've got the same one) so I'll be turning the one I've got ATM into a V8 Soarer and buy another one for a 2.5GT model heheh

 

i have the same one, although i've been meaning to find time to put some finishing touches on it...i need to lower it too.

 

well...I have some finish product pictures...but I just havn't have time to upload them....so...just give me a little time....

LoL!!! that looks great! I have the same kit (the 'Drift Machine' w/Red Soarer and the Blue RPS13? on the box?)

It looks harder to put together than the real thing

I picked mine up from Hobby Link Japan... search for SOARER and it should be under an AOSHIMA listing.

 

I have one ordered! how about a little contest, people design theirs, post some shots of them... general clublexus votes on it, lol- nothing wrong with a bit of healthy competition.

i'm down for that. i've been working on a custom widebody supra, and a s2k. next in line are: old school soarer, enzo and an admiration celsior

and i still have a few that aren't 100% complete. i dunno when i'll have time for this though
