cooling fan prob!!!!!

My cooling fan seems to be hitting my crank pulley?? Is this a common problem among these??Oh yea I have a 93 5spd!!

well it seems to be caused by the crank pulley seperating. the rubber is ripped!!!

Is this common?????

Unfortunately yes. One of the only poor designs by Toyota. My store doesn;t carry any aftermarket ones, but BoostLogic has a nice pulley that I am getting for both my cars.

What about the harmonic balancer issue? Does this aftermarket one have it?

What do yall think about this deal? I bought one of there pulleys for my dohc crx awhile

back and it was very nice!! I just hate to spend money on the na engine being I already have a 2jzgte on order!!! But I dont mind 45 shipped for a nice pulley. I figure someone on this board would prob want it when I am done with it so it wouldnt be a total loss!!!
