my guess a toyota 80-83 corolla or truck of the same year that previously had a 3t engine.

what kind of drivetrain/how are you hooking it up?

i thought a simpler drop in for the 80-83 corrolla would be those nissan ka truck or 240 engines that everyone is getting rid of. plus, there are turbo kits for it.

good luck toy boy.

oh and to answer your question, you should've painted the engine bay..el cheapo way would to use marine paint before you dropped the engine in. some elbow grease on metal should clean it up nicely after the wiring has been wire loomed and secured.

Default It is a 81 Corolla

Who cares about simpler when you can have a 2jz capable of 600hp. Also the car ways about 2000lbs.
