Pre 97 rear lip on 97+ bumper

I have a 97+ bumper and wanted to get a vertex rear lip. Will it fit on a 97+ bumper or will I need a pre 97 bumper?

You'll need a pre 97 bumper. It's been a long time since I tried this, but I think its the section between the two exhaust that is different.
