97+ Rear Bumper Extensions

Can anyone tell me if the rear bumper extensions on a pre 97 body be re-used when you change to the 97+ bumper? The part that I'm taking about hangs downward of the rear fenders just before the rear bumper. It doesn't look that different from pictures that I did searched on, and I haven't been able to look at any in rear life. I got the part # off of intellexual.net but haven't been able to compare part #'s to the pre 97's. I now have two sets of the pre 97 bumper extensions and I don't really want to buy a 3rd set if they're the same part. A simple yes/no answer would suffice.

No... don't quote me on that however, but from my knowledge the pre-97 didn't have sideskirts or the extensions you are talking about. If you left it off you would definitely know.
