Replacement Brake Light Socket
'93 SC400
I have a brake light socket (the one for the 1157 2-filament lamp) corroded beyond repair.
The "common" (white with black tracer) conductor has corroded off INSIDE the socket.
I don't see a way to disassemble the socket in order to try to repair it
Without buying an entire rear light harness assembly, has anyone found an aftermarket replacement SOCKET that will physically fit the Lexus light housing? I've located several for other make & model cars which won't fit, but I cannot find one for the Lexus.
