Adding lip change offset?

This may be a stupid question but if I add a bigger lip to my 3 piece rims will the offset change? OR will it remain the same and wheel will just get wider? Thanks in advance. Beat RHODY

Adding a larger lip changes the offset since offsets are relative to the center of the rim. The only thing that will remain the same is your back spacing.
