I just bought a 97 sc300 today and noticed on my way home that the cruise control did not work. checked it out and the cable is disconnected. I tried to install it back and it seems to long.

Can someone please post a picture of how there cables are routed so I can rule out that someone has not put them on wrong? Was thinking maybe the shift cable and cruise cable could possibly be in the wrong position.

 

Nevermind. I went ahead and changed the trans cable and put the cruise cable on. I now have cruise control and the trans shifts much better.
