The sky is falling!!!! Headliner problem
The inside roof liner/carpet (is that called the headliner???) is loose on my 95 sc400. It is sagging down about 1/2"-1" all the way across behind my sunroof. I do not know the previous owner, so i don't know the history of this problem. There appears to be old velcro under the roof. Was this the method of keeping it all attached? Seems unlikely since the liner is fairly heavy. Were there clips or something else? Anyone know the solution? Thanks!

Yes they did use velcro for this. You usually just give it a good smack down the line and it will stay up. There are no clips in the center behind the sunroof. Sometime when the roof is open air will get caught and pull the velcro apart.

I am having this problem as well. I took the old velcro out and put a heavy duty velcro back in but it only sticks to the metal roof side and not the headliner.
IDEAS PLEASE????? Its super sticky but the material on the headliner is brittle on that side.
