Hi, my 98 sc300 has a spoiler and its starting to bug me. I thought about buying a wingless trunk but don't want to paint entire car because of a trunk. Please give me some advice of that thank you.
I thought you were going to choose option 5, which is a great option I would've chose 5 because it didn't even cross my mind!!but does make a great sense!!
I removed my rear spoiler because it weighs like 14 lbs. I simply used color match 3'' wide striping tape and traced around a nickel and cut and peeled. Place over holes, has been there over 2 yrs. with no problem. I would buy a carbon fiber if it were $200 or less.
You could also get some $5.00 body filler and fill in the holes, then purchase a 60" inch x 4'ft roll of decent looking 3M carbon fiber vinyl and overlay it. The total cost will be somewhere around $125-$140.
Could also go to a pick-n-pull and find a trunk. You may get lucky and find one that doesnt need paint, just a quick wash, decontamination, and polish. I found a hood in good condition at a junk yard and its on my car right now.
Also a body shop can stichweld the holes, sand it and paint the trunk to color match it. I had a body shop do that to fill all the holes from my badging so I could debadge my trunk and 3 years later you still cant tell where they were. No need to pain the entire car if you're just trying to patch holes. Or anything Tabaka said is a good option as well, a PS4 would be nice.
There is absolutely no need to paint an entire car for a trunk lid, they will paint match the trunk to the current pigment of the car. You cant just use your paint code on an older car or it wont match after all the years of being in the sun. I was quoted $340 for a '95 trunk lid and wing to be painted and swapped on my '97.

Same price as the Battlefront PS4 Bundle on Amazon, just say'n
The only color that I can think you could get away with matching paint colors is 202 Black.
