Yes, you need an SC to compliment that ES, plus they're getting harder to find. Get it now before the rareness, classic, and drift tax get any higher

Not even close to the truth, People go snowboarding in Cali all the time. So unless you can guarantee the car never left SoCal... Plus, I think you forgot Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisana, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Mississippi, South Carolina etc etc... Plus he has to deal with removing all the CA emissions BS, I wouldn't buy a CA car for that reason alone.

Yes, I have been looking for cars that have lived a gentle life, free of salt and the like.

This is the only thing stopping me from getting an SC to Daily. The drift tax in California is ridiculous, specially since I live within half hour of Adams Motorsports Track.

You can't find one in the midwest unless you know a different place to look other than this forum, craigslist, autotrader, cars.com, etc. I'm trying to get one from this forum even though it's a colossally huge logistics undertaking for me and the seller seems less than motivated. shrug

Every search leads to coastal or warmer states. For the past few months anyway.

try test driving a 98-00 gs400, relatively light weight and has good pick up with eshift, yet rare to find a clean one, you can try the 01-05 gs430's. Stick to the 1UZ family.

Thanks!
