If your wheels are 18x9 +30 then a 10mm spacer will give you enough clearance for the brakes and at 18x9 +20 you will have A LOT of space left!
What tire sizes did you end up going with....?
Look forward to seeing the new wheels and tire setup....but please ditch those JNC center caps....lol
The rears were actually quite nice which made me a little sad, but can't just roll around with rear wheels.
Wheels are sold and I returned the tires, I am looking out for a nice set on supraforums and will scoop up a confirmed supra fitment set.
haha yeah i was going to fit some lexus emblems on there, but now I think I want some real jdm wheels when the time comes.
Haha, Arrriba!!!

I got some new all season 275's for the supra TT wheels (they will eventually become winter set is why), and its given me all my traction back so no emergency at the moment.
I am up to 3 cars now, and lately I have been thinking of downsizing and getting my dream car for cruising on the weekends. Hopefully the SC will make the cut but I am not sure to be honest, I must be getting old cause I have gotten tired of working on it. Now that I can afford one, if I find the right 68-72 vette (454 with the 4 speed), I may just have to start getting rid of my other projects cause not only can I enjoy the stingray, but it will keep going up in value. BUT, if I can find a house to park all of them at in the near future, I'll keep all 4 and the SC will be likely be turned into a drag car.

BTW, he's the neighbor I've mentioned before who literally dropped whatever he was holding and ran to the door the first time I drove by after getting the exhaust work done. We had never met prior to that and he stopped by shortly after, asking incredulously, "is that a V8?" Any time you can impress a 'Vette guy, ya done well!

Yeah, great minds think alike =) You still looking at the C6's?
For me and the early C3 it was love at first sight and I refuse to get a newer one. it has to have metal bumpers, T-tops, and a/c.
I can throw in the blown 454 with a 6spd tremec when I have some spare time

If I did, it probably wouldn't be anyday soon. I just need to get the SC running again and I think I'll be OK

But something about a V8 in a relatively light car, that is kind of fast, that you can just hop in and start it right up and drive everyday, there's something to say about that. Getting to the age where dropping trannies and pulling motors just isn't as fun as it used to be. Espeicially when time is limited when you have to little ***** of energy to keep your eye on all day.
Yeah I would get the SC running well and in a state where it doesn't need to be messed with a whole lot, that is sort of my plan with mine.
Yeah I mean just over the years I see how much time really goes into these things looking back, and man thats a lot of nights/weekends/happy hours and with me working full time and being part time full bachelor now, I think I need to get rid of alot of the "have to do" projects and only keep a few that I can work on "long term".
I know if I don't have some sort of project I will go crazy, but If I had a stingray I could just hop in sat morning and go to the car show grab some food and come back and repeat like 1000x times, and then it goes up in value when I am old, I think I would really like that.
The SC will be turned into a street/drag car at that point, I have a feeling I will be back in texas next year sometime, so you guys might see it at TX2K when I get the time to soup it up.
BTW, here it is. Black on Black C6. We towed it with my Black on Black Durango R/T, on my Black trailer. All black things matter!

Still would love to find one, but gunna rock the SC for awhile longer yet.

Yeah that c6 looks sick, its like they left just enough room to install that vortech on there. the black theme is awesome I somehow always end up with red or beige I need to break that trend.
My 1/3 life crisis is potentially underway, going to look at a black '71 C3 this week. its 350 AUTO but I can swap it later on... for once it won't be a JZ build lol. For now fluid changes and polishing and driving is about all I want to do.
Now I want to go look at more or a collectors one, there is a 1970 blue stingray with 19k original miles.
If I can scoop that up I wont even mess with it. its a 350/300hp all original and I have a feeling It will just keep going up in value.
