Thanks, yeah its a nice piece for a good price.
I originally had a sound performance steel midpipe for a supra (thick and super heavy), which I had to put 2 cats in to pass emissions around here.
When I came across these on ebay I ordered one and use that as a "test pipe". I can say without cats the turbo spools much faster, you can hear it whistling up twice as loud. with the cats restricting the exhaust I dont hear much until its spooled up. crazy how much of a difference backpressure can make.
I have this. It's 80mm so you might have issues bolting this to the stock header (I'm not sure... I've been told the HKS @ 75mm has better fitment to the factory header).
My setup is this: MVP header -> Blitz front pipe. I use a 3in copper 2 hole gasket between the header and the Blitz pipe. There's a slight leak thru one of the bolt holes but it's not annoying or anything.
I am running this mid-pipe with my supra long tube headers that also bolted directly up and I'm getting a CEL for the cat being ,missing and the o2 sensor being unplugged and removed altogether. I planned on having an exhaust shop add an o2 sensor bung to the mid-pipe and then I was going to run a mini-cat simulator and fool my o2 sensor. Does anyone have any input because if you run full cat-less you will have this problem. Also not only is it giving me a CEL it is also making my car run super rich and like crap. If anyone has ran into this problem or has insight please let me know.
