Awesome! a polished throttle body...

How's your cylinder bore wear? Any problems anticipated? Can you still see the cross-hatching in the cylinder?

SP57 makes for a fine canyon carver.

Sam I am, i'm brainstorming with a shop out in Suffolk re: boost, we're trying to put something real nice together, but the budget on this motherf#cker is spiraling into oblivion, probably shouldn't have purchased nine grand in body kit and multimedia the first two weeks I owned it, none of that is helping me go faster. Also just got engaged a few weeks ago, SC300TURBO is basically the only one who knew, and that's only because he was the one that talked Deb into waiting so long while I went buck wild on the whips. Point is, that damn ring was basically the cost of the whole turbo conversion, plus I just moved a week ago and that took a chunk out of my **** too. Lastly, i'm exploring the possibility of becoming partners with a friend of mine and branching out on my own finally (he's got a mean yellow widebody S4, big twins, 19's, lthr Sparcos, Porsche brakes). So that's the scoop, gadg i'm sure you'll be happy to hear you're ahead of me , but once I straigthen out the current situation, which requires all of my attention, then i'm all about Project: Luthor v2.0, i'll be back on track very shortly, and gadget I want YOU....

The current plan is probably Stage 2 with an SP63 kit and a Haltech E6K with an HKS FMIC, GT gate, Racing BOV II and HG and maybe the full SP fuel system, retaining the VVT-i head of course (there, I said it, Kay?? ), but i'm almost tempted to start more basic (i.e. Toyomoto Stage 1.5, PHR, PF, PFS, TBKO, SRT, blah blah blah...) and drop some cheese on the body and cockpit, your thoughts?

Default update

a little update:

thanks Richie, Quickturbo...

SC300T - I didnt measure cylinder wear...but can see some cross-hatching. I have only 83k miles and have keep good care from mile 1. You get a real good idea of how well these things are built by tearing them down.

TurboB6 - The IC was the first thing I put on since it was the first part of this project I purchased Very easy fit. Thanks!

AWJ - That oil pan and fitting was great to have...I knew exactly how far to drill, and the fitting worked better. Thanks AJ.

OneHot - Cant wait for a meet. Hope the cars working

Jon - Hurry up....I need someone to play with...a partner in crime

TRD - Not the guy with the M3

now for more pics

One of the IC for U turbob6
