Default Anyone got their Engine dressed up?

I'm considering getting my engine dressed up...As of right now, i looks boring to me...tired of looking at black and silver...I want to add a little something to it...Any suggestions?

I noticed only a few SC people got their engine dressed up...Any ideas on making your engine bay look nice and clean?

Does anyone have a clean painted engine bay or chromed engine bay?

You should get your plastic pieces dipped in chrome. That is what I have planned in the near future. I really need to get a new battery.... The red looks lost.

I was planning to go blue, but I couldn't get blue wire looms and blue silicone hoses that matched and looked nice. If anyone knows where to get them a nice matching set at, let me know.

Hmmmmm..... I was under the understanding no strut bars fit the SC400 without at least taking off the Lexus emblem. What kind are those?

I dont have the emblem on the engine. I think you have to pop them off to fit.

I've still got to take so pics. But I did mine in high-ceramic content paint. I didn't sand the plastic before I painted so some of them got scratched off. I'm going to do it again but this time I am going to
sand -> high-heat primer -> same silver ceramic paint.
I'll take photo tonight and post tomorrow.

Please be more specific. What kind of shop are you referring to?

Do I just go to my body shop and tell them that I want my engine chromed?

You have to go to a chrome polishing shop. Flag down a biker, they usually know where places like this are, or go to a low rider show or something. There are a few down here in So. Cal that I know of like Rainbow Polish in El Monte.
