Hey all, I've done some searching on this but not quite finding a clear answer: are there better than OE replacement blades out there for the SC? (Blades, not just refills). If so, what size are we looking for? I need to find some soon...
Thanks
I've used the rain X single piece blades on my cars for like a decade now. No complaints at all. Plus, when I wash my car I wax my windshield so I hardly use my wipers anyway. Keeps them in good shape for a couple years.

Yeah those are flat blades. They are good stuff. I think I have those rain x ones on right now but I have also used the Bosch Icons and a few others.
the wipers i bought last time were the Michelin Stealth Ultra. Ive had them for about 2 years now in Florida and they are still perfect, no streaks, missed spots. it works perfectly, and i use them pretty often, every time i get into the car i use the fluid to clean off droplets, the car is constantly under the sun( unfortunately) and with the rainy season in florida they get quite a bit of abuse. However it seem these have been discontinued and replaced by Michelin Stealth Wiper. I haven't used that one but im asuming since its replacing the once i have it has to be equal or better.
Pictures for reference since i cant post product links.
Those hybrid blades are just fancy old school blades.
that might be true but they lasted me 2+ years so far. No other set that ive bought before lasts this long without starting to crap out. I thing the shroud design helps in some way or another.

I live in the southern arizona heat and the flat blades usually last me 2-3 years.
I'll add my support for the RainX latitude blades. I've been using them for at least 5 or 6 years with no complaints. Consumer Reports seems to agree, they have consistently ranked them as the top or second best blade over the years as other brands have been inconsistent. They also still show the Rain X blades as the only ones they tested to perform well after 6 months.
Depending on where you live in CA, just buy the cheapest ones. It hardly rains here to make any use out of them. I use mine to wipe of windshield wiper fluid more than rainwater.
