LoL, I wouldn't say all of that. I just happened to have a supercharged 400 lol.

Anyway, it kinda depends, the roots kits that are out (bullet cars) use eaton M90, and a few people have used the M112. M90, total waste of time, too small of a blower for the displacement. The M90's are well matched to V6's though. And even then they aren't that great.

M112, a better power increase, but the same issue with other roots blowers, is they get hot, and begin to lose copious amounts of power.

So IMO, centrifugal all the way. But Eaton was that insta-torque factor that a centrifugal doesn't quite have. Though there are ways around it (super small pulley, and a wastegate on the intercooler piping).

More info here:
http://www.superchevy.com/how-to/eng...ger-wastegate/

As far as sheer power goes, centrifugal builds generally yield about 375-400 though. But it also depends on a lot of factors, mainly engine management, because the stock ECU blows.

thanks ihiryu,

just wanted to hear from those with actual experience like you so our colleagues around here who wanted to use superchargers are not guessing or will have an idea around how much hp they can get and what is needed to be taken cared of just like you said the heat generated ...
