starters???
My starter went out on my '95 SC400 this morning. I was calling the parts store to check on prices and they asked for the mfg date for the SC. 
My question is this, are there any difference between the '95 starters and the '96 starters?

probably not but they do like to ask unnecessary questions to make that little machine in front of them all happy.
there were some internal changes to the engine in 96 for the sc400 that changed the compression, but can't imagine the starter changed very much or at all.
