Default SC400 97 Speedometer/Odo help.

Hi i need you're help my lexus sc400 97 speedometer and odo used to work when the car is cold once it gets hot it stops working and i live in a very very hot country. after changing the speedometer sensor underneath the gear it just stopped working all at once but everything else including the RPM works just fine. iv been trying to figure out what's the problem with no luck i went to all lexus forums including this one i asked people and garages no body knows. they all say the sensor and i changed that already! they're telling me to buy the whole dashboard gauge and that's so expansive and hard to find for my model. Keep in mind i haven't yet removed it nor checked the wiring yet but i need some tips from you guys who own the same car because iv heard its really a common problem with this car. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your reply i have checked the site but the problem is if i did send my gauge cluster to them for fixing and shipping it will cost me a lot more then just buying a new one. if you know any websites who sell those internationally for a reasonable price or even in ebay please link it to me.

Yeah that's true, They do sell gauge cluster that why you don't have to ship yours to them that have been rebuilt, tested, programmed to your vehicle mileage for $349 + shipping and it has a warranty. But shipping would be the killer I'm thinking around 70-90$ just for that
