It's a prototype of something, but not of the SC. They might've just used the headlights for it.

Well the SC was designed in Southern California by Calty and that video is shot in Southern California so it's quite possible it was another vehicle made by Calty. It would explain the headlights as they would have access to them. Also that car has parts that look post 97 face lift such as the rear bumper and the 3-spoked steering vehicle,

Great find, account2x! Without a doubt those are SC/Soarer projector headlights. And the license plates read "CALSTART" or "CALSTAAT". Calty has done so many concepts I am sure you're right that they were involved in this design.

But I don't think it's an SC prototype shell. Those looked a little different and longer. But I think this EV one-off was heavily influenced by their then-recent SC/Z30 Soarer design. Is there a date on this program?

Also, I was happy to see a quick demonstration of the Peltier Effect for heating in an EV HVAC system.

Before you press play, in that screenshot of the front end of the vehicle, it almost looks like the mid-late 90's Cavalier.

Those definitely look like SC headlights. It's a goofy looking car but I would drive it. Maybe throw on some SC750 emblems.
