Default how hard is it to install a Rod Millen intake?

I believe I should have one arriving soon, and am planning on installing it myself. How hard is it to install this? (I usually get my work done somewhere...) I can find info about the BFI and what have you, but have not found a post regarding installing this type of aftermarket intake (procedures, troubleshooting...)

And yes I did search, lol.

its a very easy thing to do. Takes about 10 minutes. Just unbolt your old box and remote it then bolt on your new one.

I hope you have better luck than I had with my 96. I attempted to order the RM intake for mine and recieved an HKS Supra turbo intake. When I asked the people who I ordered from why, they stated that my 96 had a different intake than earlier years and that was the only one they had that would fit. Would have been nice to know what I was getting before I got it. Then they charge me for the RM which listed for like $60 more than the one I got. I hope you either have the earlier style intake or there is a knew design RM for the later models. If you have the later intake and get the early model RM it won't work. Just my experience.

To tell ya the truth I don't really know to much about it. I just basically bought it and stuck it on there. I can take some pics if you like, im not sure how the sc300 connections are laid out... the intake looks pretty universal to me

Default Do a BFI

Better off doing a BFI conversation, stock filter is the best for the sc400. The cost would make you happy also.
