Post SC Imported

Out of the SC's that were produced and sold in America, how many were 5 speeds that were imported from Japan?
I have been trying to research online but haven't been able to find anything. I have a 1992 SC300 that is a factory 5 speed and I'm not sure if all of the SC's were imported or just some of them were.
I have had mine since August of 2014 and it's my first 5 speed. Just looking to see if anyone has any information on these cars like above.
From the forums I've been looking at, people here seem to be a lot more respectable about posts than on Facebook so I'm asking here.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Carin,

There were 3,883 5-speed original manual cars made from 1992-1997. All manufacturing for every SC300 and SC400 was done in Japan on the same assembly line as the Toyota Soarer (same car, different options) and MKIV Supra.

Covered in these threads. Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forums!

Kahn,
Thank you. I've seen the table before but I wasn't sure if all of the cars were imported from Japan or not. I appreciate it!
I'm definitely in love with my SC300. She'll all stock right now but after I get some money from the auto accident settlement I was in that lead me to the SC, she won't be for much longer.
I've been so many builds and personalization with these cars and can't wait to get started on mine.

None of the SCs were produced / manufactured in the US. All of them are imports

Welcome to CL, yeah if you look on the sticker on the door I am pretty sure it says somewhere its assembled in Japan.
Or maybe it was the metal tag in the engine bay, I forget.

I never thought about that. "JT" must mean "Japan Toyota" followed by "JZ" which is of course the engine series and then "Z31" which is the series of SC/Soarer.
