Default BOTH doors on 95 sc400 broken... please help!!!

Hello everyone.. I am new to the forums and i have done my fair share of research on what could possibly be wrong.. the lock mechanism works[ car locks and unlocks fine with key] but when I go to grab the door handle, the door handle doesnt unhook the door latch. My passenger door's clip broke from the original owner and now i feel as if the same has happened to the driver side. I know for a fact it opens from the inside but i am locked out I have a auto locksmith coming monday but any ideas on to open the inside car door handle from outside without breaking any windows?.

Please help!! this is my only car i need to fix this asap.
Thank you in advance

So your outside door handle does not open your door? It could be this issue, read this thread

O ok so you know what the problem is hmmm. I dunno it sounds like you might have to bite the bullet and break a window I dont see how a lock smith is going to get it open unless hes real good the the jimmy bar.

It appears to be the little plastic door clip.. this is all very informative except I'm still locked out!!! Still looking for a alternative to get in.

Know a good car thief, He'll get it open with coat hanger. If you can get a wire thru the seal at the top of the window, you may be able to get ahold of the inside handle & pull it. People on here have even gone as far as suggesting to cut open the door on the outside. To bad these cars don't have a fold down rear seat or you could go thru the trunk.

I'll try that today and keep you updated.. but as far as cutting the door off that's a little extreme... if anything I'm breaking a car window. Smh. This is a headache

Ya it's a real PITA when that happens, I bought 2 boxes of those clips online from a fastener place as there's right & left clips, quite the common problem. I feel for ya & good luck.

They're 5 bucks a piece at the dealership. Buy a few as they will come in handy the next 5 years.

That happened to me ONCE. I installed safety wire around the end of the rods and clips.
