Seeking some advice
Hello everyone, it's been a little while since I've last made a post and right now I am at a crossroads of sorts with my 400.
I work at an auto lube shop as an assistant manager, so I pretty much have access to the pit, tools and a lot of stuff I need for general maintenance if I desire.
So here's the deal. I was going over my car and noticed I have a oil pan leak that seems pretty bad (entire bottom of it was soaked, but levels seem to be okay.), also noticed some leaking possibly from the upper portion of the engine, possibly head gasket or valve cover gasket? Possible rear main leak too.....
Last year I also replaced all my power steering hoses and my alternator as well. The dash board lights currently flicker slightly at idle, with nothing on but the AC and headlights/dash lights.
I recently purchased new spark plugs and wires, fuel filter, intake and flowmaster 10 series exhaust for it and have yet to put it all on.
Anyways enough rambling on, I am trying to figure out if it is worth repairing these leaks/issues or to just buy another vehicle. I mean the car does have interior and exterior issues as well, I bought it for 2 grand a year ago.

For the flickering lights, the usual recommendation is to clean your engine grounds and perhaps replace the negative battery cable if it's looking aged.
I redid my lower oil pan to address a leak from when I bought the car, but I think it was actually coming from higher up (the oil filter housing) and spreading everywhere...

Yes it is worth fixing it. A little elbow grease and it'll run forever. Another car can have the same, if not worse issues. At least this way you'll know exactly what has been replaced and to what quality.
Whats the year and mileage anyways?

I got 231xx xmi on my 95 SC400.. I often debate about getting rid of her too. But as I shop for another used car for a project, I find there are not too many cars with our high mileage that are still running strong on the road. At least I know that the SC's are well built and can go on for awhile..

I love it to death, even with all the work it needs to get it where I want it. Would love to fully restore the interior, shine auto kit, new paint (currently Midnight Indigo Pearl, but roof and rear bumper is oxidizing) maybe black, 5 speed swap and a mild blower with cams but figure for what I want to do to her I could get my ideal ''dream car''. H/C/E C6 Corvette.
