Default problem with pass. door lock

Did anybody ever experience this problem before. When ever i lock or unlock my doors sometimes the pass. side lock gets kinda jammed and the lock will get stuck. Ill try and lock , unlock, lock , unlock with the switch but it wont work. I hav e to manually flip the lock **** then itll start working again. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

one of 2 things. either the linkage is binding and needs to be greased, or the lock actuator motor is failing and needs to be replaced.

if the lock actuator motor is failing, you would be able to move the doorlock with no problem and feel no unnormal resistance. but if you do feel an unnormal amount of resistance when manually unlocking or locking, i'd get some grease and lube the moving joints in the doorlock system.

Same thing just happened to my drivers side lock this past week.
I am able to manually move it pretty easily, so I'm assuming it's the motor
