sounds like the cable might be sticking. Try taking off the door panel and check that the cable is properly insterted into the groove and grease it up a lil with litium grease. If that doesnt solve you problem might be door lock actuators, these are a common problem with the gs.

This is a common issue.. most likely it is the door lock actuator motor is bad.

see my diy... It is a little overboard.. but useful

To confirm, it is more then likely going to be your door actuator. That's just the first sign of it going out. The DIY post is very informative but there are steps such as taking the mirror and glass out is not necessary. I've changed all four of my actuators out already and never had to touch those parts. Good luck.

Buddy, I don't write up DIY posts, sorry, but I DID replace mine's just fine without removing the glass. If you were here in Houston, I'll replace your's for free while you write up a new DIY.

P.S. Don't get so defensive man, no one is trying to put down your DIY post. I just found an easier way around all the extra work. Time is money.

I have this exact problem. I had to replace the door actuator and it blew! It was just a pain in the ***. Great pics though!

I also did not pull out the glass - but the little plastic pieces in the door were very disappointing. I was very surprised how cheap they were.
