NA-t head gasket option?
Virgin Head, soon to be surfaced (unknown how much it will take to surface) and I already have the TT HG as recommended in the link below
also have a new GE HG .
HERE>> https://www.clublexus.com/forums/6662013-post8.html
Goal:
Better street performace, 20psi and 93 octance, 30psi on e85
Parts on 2jzge:
s366 BW
Aem V2
850cc
415lph e85 walbro
lq9 coils
stock pistons and cams
Arp studs
Questions:
1. Are these calculations done from a virgin uncut head or surfaced?
2. How much can the head be surfaced before the compression is to high?
3. Can i stack the GE HG ontop of the TT HG to make up the difference in machining?
Thank you

how much is taken off is going to be a large factor. you should use at least the GTE head. if you have more than .010 taken off you may want to look into a thicker gasket. no you should not stack the gaskets they do that in a special way removing the rivits etc.. just get a new gasket the right thickness, they make a couple diff ones all the way up to 2.0mm but don't go over that. stock GTE is like 1.3mm, so if you have alot removed maybe like a 1.7 but if not much removed than gte is fine although 20 on pump you don't want too much compression.
you will likely need more injector and likely a larger fuel system for 30 psi on e85 as well.

I have ordered a JDM head from sumeet. i am afraid i have softened my head with the engine running without water. the machine shops i have been to want to take off to much material and they have dated technology. also no RA gauge or hardness test. this head im getting is said to be virgin and only shaved like .04'' with CBC iirc. Shimmed and valve seals for $450 for everything down to shipping. I will also be going to E fans since the Mech fan started all of this.
Yes 1200cc or larger High Z will be on the list with the -8 feed to-6 dual feed and -6 return from rail center to the stock feed line as a return to tank.

.005 is hardly anything, must be a good shop or very little surface issues. I would still run a tt gasket.
If your gonna use e85 why lower the compression. Imo its a waste to drop compression when going e85. U loose out on all the great torque. U just have to run a bit less boost when running 93 but better driveability
93 will be primary fuel for mpg. it sucks to hunt for e85.. any sort of road trips, yes i have flex fuel sensor but its just the getting off the interstate and hunting pumps. anyhow its all sorted the GE block has TT HG now.
Getting ready to replace Head Gasket on GS300 year 2001. Anyone has any link to manual I can review. Seems easy, gets tricky when removing VVTi pulley and Cams. Want to make sure installation don't become a nightmare. Thanks

The only aspects that are missing for your application are related to the VVT-i intake cam gear. That you can reference all the main points for with the TSRM pages for the 1998 Supra Base/NA, 1998+ GS300, 98-00 SC300 and 2001-2005 IS300 all with the same 2JZ-GE VVT-i engine.
In your case, if you are not planning on any turbo modification you will be using the stock 2JZ-GE head gasket. Everything else is pretty much the same procedure.
