Did a search. Couldn't find much of anything. Those of you that have modded a 2000 tail light with the black outer, how did you get the passenger side color part out the key hole without breaking the lens? I just broke my new tails

Even with it broken and out, I still can't figure out how to get the lens keyhole part off of the reverse light insert without cutting either one.

Tell me about it. That part is a *****. And mine is kept on seeping water inside after the mod. You have to separate the part for key hole from the entire lens. I scratched it with a blade until it snapped off of the lens, then glued it back on after. Found the thread, post number 5;
