Default Rear Light Warning Light?????

Hey,
Today as I got in my car I noticed that the orange Rear Light Warning Light was on. I thought that one of the lights burned out or something. About an hour later I started the car again and the light was not on anymore. Seems strange. Does anyone know what might be the cause for this.
Thanks

That light wont come on until the light that is supposed to come on, doesnt come on. Like if its one of the parking light bulbs then until you turn the parking light bulb that light wont come on. If its a reverse light bulb the light wont come on till you put it in reverse. Same goes to brake and turning signals. Try all of them and see when it comes on and have someone stand outside and see which one is out and replaces it.

Thanks for the reply. I had someone look at the lights outside and we found which one was not working. Thanks.

ive had the light come on recently as well, though the rear taillights, turn signals, reverse, brake/3rd brake work fine.....

its happened twice, i shut down and restart it comes back.
i shut down, take out the key, put it back and turn it over again, it doesnt.

i cant figure out if anything is truly wrong

um.. mines been doing that too. i checked all the lights, works fine..
i notice it does it when im on a bumpy road.. so i might have a falty light bulb somewhere.. and vibration knocks off a loose connection somewhere..
