Default what is this?

Hi,
i just opened my centre console today to install a audio player and found that there is a ECU (or kind of a computer) inside. what is that for?

Also how does AC work in SC400? as i dont have orignal ECU anymore (running haltech only) my AC stopped turning on

If its a wire harness connection then it's for the car phone, they did that so then it would be Easier to add that in the package at the dealership. If you can find one, it would be useless sense the technology is out of date, but it would still be cool to have.

On my AEM V2 and 1JZGTE I used pin A17 and A27 for the AC to work. If you need more info PM me. Although I am not a tuner or wiring guru as many others are on here.

Could also be the alarm control module (something like that). In which case, you DONT wanna remove it.

If its the computer that was directly below the stock head unit, thats for your airbags. Look for yellow plugs or yellow wire loom.

its directly below my climate control unit (just a bit more inside)..... guess its airbag
