Default Sc400 Performance Chip Modu

The following links and request are prohibited on CLubLexus:
Ebay links to any merchandise being auctioned on Ebay. Instead post up pictures, descriptions, etc… directly in the thread.

i wonder if this is bull ****, it looks like it,
seems like a piggy back mod for the stock ECU,
i've seen other ecu upgrade, but those were for performance engine setup, and cost $600+

just wonder about your guys input on this mod.

Its a friggin .10 cent resistor betwem the MAF and the ECU.

My advice is to skip it. Its power gains lie in the fact that the SC4 runs overly rich. The resistor just tricks the computer into leaning out the mix. Power gains are lost at WOT. This has always been a controversial mod. Not worth risking ruining the engine over a cheap part whose gains are minimal at most. 10 hp is not realistic for this; try 3-4.

Spend the money to replace your air filter with a new OEM one and you'll have similar gains and cleaner air!

Just my .02 cents.

Default Racing-x Ecu Mod

This is a unit that you are supposed to splice into the ECU wires from a new company called Racing-X.

Does anyone know anything about this unit, the company or if it works?

Here is what they say:

Racing-X is proudly to introduce the PERFORMANCE MODULE VERSION 1.0. This modulator is a BRAND NEW product just hitting the market! It is a one easy step and ready to go kit. In less than 20 minutes of quick and easy installation, and you are all set to have fun. The Racing-X performance module will give your car a higher performance by increasing both horsepower/torque. The module was designed to directly compete with the JET V-Chip at a significantly reduced cost! The Racing-X module not only competes with the higher priced V-Chip, but OUTPERFORMS other competing modules and chips from companies like SLP Engineering and RKRacing. So why bother spending over $200 for a JET V-Chip to increase 10 horsepower while you can spend much less for a Racing-X Performance Module to increase the same or even higher performance!

Here is the link to the product:

Ebay links are prohibited
