window motor question
hello everyone!
So i just got my sc300 not to long ago
just finished installing a new clutch and now onto completing the interior
there are no interior panels nor window motors
i was wondering if the supra window motors will work or not. the lexus ones are like 300 bucks vs the 60 for a supra one.
any info would be appreciated! thanks!

I can't say for certain, but it seems to me that the motors are unique to the SC regulators. There are a lot of failed regs out there, because of a weak plastic block. Usually the motors are still fine. You should be able to find used motors pretty cheap.
If you were asking if Supra regulators (including motors) will work, no they won't. Not even all SC regs will work. The earlier SCs used a different reg than the later ones. The length changed, but I don't remember which model year.
If you do need complete regs, there's a good DIY write up on repairing broken ones, either using JB Weld (which doesn't seem to last if the plastic is broken very badly), or by drilling and repairing the plastic block with a machine screw. You can probably find used ones, and repair them if needed.
I think that thread also has sources to buy new ones for quite a bit less than $300 ---- more like $120 if i remember correctly.
