Manifold has arrived..



More parts arriving over the next few weeks....

 

Just got back home from picking up my 2jzgte!!!!!!









Now the fun begins!!!

 

Nice . Now go to work , clean up that 2jzgte harness .

Thanks...I got a lot of work ahead of me just picked up my engine stand and torque wrench

 

Got some work done last night....Factory turbos removed and test fitted manifold..











Today...I am going to try to get the harness removed and start working on it.

 

Got the intake side removed today....Along with wiring harness



I ended up labeling every clip and connector when i removed it...making it much easier to identify each plug when i start on harness build.



Power steering and A/C compressor removed..





Fuel injectors are removed from lower intake runner...



Lower runners removed....I am very pleased so far the engine is really clean..

 

Progress is coming along quite nicely. Keep up the good work.

Slow and steady man...dont get your hopes up no reason for me to rush it

 

Got crank pulley off and serpentine belt tensioner....

I was worrired I wouldnt be able to get the crank pulley bolt out but I put the stock auto flywheel back on and wedged a big screwdriver in it to prevent the crank for spinning...

I used a breaker bar with the 4ft handle from my jack to make a cheater bar...worked well

 

seems to be the best method :P
