Starting to wrap door panels in the new vinyl...I am just test fitting them first before I apply adhesive and staples.

I pulled off the old vinyl pieces and used them as a template for the new vinyl....

 

Finished up the rear wheel well area with undercoating....Yes I know my shocks and springs are shot.....Coilovers and LS400 BBK kit are next on my list.....

I also started to put the interior back together....I finished up wrapping the rear side panels in new black vinyl and put back seats in.....Let me know your opinion on the two tone......I am a toss up between getting new covers for seats to make it all black but I kinda like the look it is now..

I guess my interior is actually three tone....Light tan on the seats.....Brown on the upper trim panels....and Black on carpet, door panels, rear side panels and lower half of dash....

looking good! i'm gonna make just my dash, carpet, and center console black, leaving everything else tan, i love the two tone look, looks great in our cars IMO.

 

Ryan - hope you get that car running this weekend..your stuff should be back with you today.

 

Im going to leave it like that for now and see if it grows on me....Once the door panels are back on it will give me a better idea...

Got wiring harness in from Gerrb.....I am working on checking every pin and wire to make sure it is 100% before I put it back in car....

is it running yet ?... you actually did good on the harness.. most of the problems I saw where caused by wrongly identifying pin numbers on IJ1 plug because of pins in between rows. So, pins where inserted in different slots.

pretty sure you will be fine now ...


EDIT : oh shoot , just got a text from you while doing this post that it is running... yehey.. and it fired right up. You did a good job then ! Congrats ...

I'm hoping to redo my interior to a black and brown two tone kind of like you see on BMW's next year. So definitely want to see how yours turns out and how you did it!
