I just replaced the pressure hose to the power steering pump, but after I changed the hose it came a noise from the pump that was not there before I switched hose. bleed the system many times, but the noise is not completely gone. someone who can help me?
record the noise. Is it more of a squeel, or a knocking noise? Does it only happen when you turn the wheel, or during idle? Video or audio would help here.
sound comes as soon as I turn the steering wheel. sounds the same as when there is too little fluid. I am a mechanic myself, have tried to bleed many times and changed the oil 3 times so it's like new. annoying since the sound was not there before I switched hose: (

There is a real fine screen on the inside of the reservoir at the bottom were the supply line is we usually just punch them out with a screw driver.
there has also been a new leak from the vacum valve, located in the pressure line, I wonder if it can be removed and then weld up the hole where the valve is?
If that doesnt fix it, then I would try to bleed your car with it not running. I have always found this best method, if you havent already done so. I agree with Roger, poke a hole in the screen with a screwdriver. Good luck.

If you are talking about the 2 vacuum lines that go to the steering pump where the banjoed pressure line is, leave the one that comes off the throttle body and plug the other 1 so you dont have a leak the only thing that one does is for the speed sensing control!
Took out the power steering fluid reservoir, took off the lid and removed everything that was inside, filled the new ATF oil and the sound was completely gone afterwards
