First post...so I'll make it a good one!!


Ok...looking into getting either a SC300 or SC400...which has more potential as far as mods go...

What am I looking for in mods?...something that will make it fun to drive and enjoy "spirited" driving...

Current ride...Audi S4...slightly modded, of course

Man, you owned a S4? That my favorite car now, especially with all the snow and my sc4 couldn't get anywhere due to rear wheel drive. Anyway, if you're in the market for a SC, i would recommend the SC300, it is luxurious as the SC4, and u can always built a monster out of it by turbo charge or swapping the supra turbo engine, 2JZ-GTE, in there. Isn't that nice...got a luxury and fast car and it still look like a sleeper !!! As for the SC400, yes it's a V8, but force induction is very rare, almost none available yet for the U.S, there were promises that the supercharge will be available for the end of this month...but so far... Well...so there u go...u can do a search for everything about the SC in this forum. Enough info to make your choice...Congrat on the good pick for an SC.

 

Thanks...S4 is sweet in the snow...I just about drive the same way in all weather now...

I was looking around and your right, the sc3 seems like the better of the 2 if mods are in the near future

SC 300, by far. Welcome to Clublexus. If your lucky, you'll find a 5 speed Sc3, yrs 92-97

 

As much as I would like it...this car has to be an automatic but from what I understand the automatic can handle alot of power...right?, or do you have to do a shift kit to keep it together?

Actually...out of curiosity, what have you done to your GS400?...I 've "played" with a few that wanted to "play" and there really wasn't much to it...but from what I've read of your past postings...you got some wicked power under the hood...

 

No go fast mods. I got a SRT intake in the garage waiting for install. Hmmm, my Bora Exhaust adds 50hp

I attribute my driving skills to my victories. Many people have fast cars but don't know how to drive em. The GS is pretty fast stock to me. I have never encountered a S4 sedan, a S4 wagon but I think I wrote that at speed he was uncatchable.

The auto can hold up fine.
