Hi!
I´m new here but not completly to lexus cars, i´m a member in a swedish club for toyota and lexus.
My quistens concerns the lexus sc300. is it true that it has got it´s engine from the toyota supra? wich model MKIII or MKIV? did they build the sc300 from factory with turbo or twin turbo? i that case were can i find one US, Japan or Europe?

sc300 has the same engine as a non-turbo supra MkIV (93-on)

sc300 did not come with a factory twin turbo option

right hand drive model sc300 (soarer) did not have a twin turbo option only 3.0L N/A supra MKIV engine

right hand drive model sc400 came with V8 and twin turbo 2.5L engine 2.5L TT not available in US

all models were RWD

US only had the 3.0 L N/A and 4.0L V8

The overseas version of the 2JZ-GTE is the 1JZ-GTE it is the 2.5L version of the 2JZ-GTE. still a inline 6 twinturbo with the same HP but less torque.
