Out of the blue, another SC is bound to be picked up me.
Around 0715 this morning, my phone rang. It was someone in GA. I hardly ever answer my cell when I don't know who it is. Low and behold it was a member who I haven't spoken with in over a year. He said his health is worsen and he has had several back surgeries, and that he was going to take care of me. I always tried to help him over the phone when he called several, several times before on troubleshooting and symptoms. When he said this, I didn't know what to say, I said, like how???? He said the car runs, but not in perfect order as it should be, but if I wanted it, to come get it out of his garage. I thought he was kidding. He said due to his health he is no longer able to work on the car, and fix the little things it needs, and that if I will come get it out of his garage, I could have it. He put air in the tires, and charge the battery for me, and put in the driveway with the title. I will more than likely not keep it, I will part it out, but I will first see what it all needs, and what I will want to keep for myself. You know this thread would be hard to believe, but attached is the photos he sent by text. I wanted to share my story with you and see if anything like this has ever happened. Me and Gerrb are planning on picking the car up on Tuesday and bring it back to Alabama.

I am not real sure about the headlights. If it isnt too much to fix, this will be my daily driver. This is actually good timing, since my work truck has a blown head gasket. I started tearing it down yesterday. Such a simple task turned into a nightmare...

I am a newbie on here and not a DIYer... From what I read of your over 6,000 posts you give good advice and help a lot of people on here to get their cars running .... Other memebers should appreciate you as much as this person... Hope saving this car works out for you.....

Thanks guys for all the positive feedback on my post and threads. I try to do what is right on here and lead by example. I only wish my kids will inherent this trait and continue to make a difference in people's lives as I have on here. Some people have Facebook, some have Twitter, some have Instagram, I have Clublexus. This is my second family. I check this website more times a day than many of you know.
